Mighty Ancient Tongue Productions is Scott Borland and Kyle Weeks: two creative and technically skilled individuals collaborating to form an all-inclusive music and audio post-production team. In their self-contained work environment, MATP has maintained a high level of music production while simultaniously providing sound design and audio post-production services in a timely and efficient manner. Together as Mighty Ancient Tongue Productions, Scott and Kyle have worked on several local and national projects including the score and audio post-production for the feature length film, “A Letter From my Father”, the branding tag and additional material for the University of Baltimore advertising campaign 2006 and 2007, Jacksonville Film Festival TV spot and theatrical trailer 2006 and 2007, and the 48 Hour Film Project submission “A Man’s Touch” for which they won an award for “Best Musical Score”.

Scott Borland


Scott began playing bass at age 10 and began recording on albums in Los Angeles at age 17, where he worked on several recording projects playing guitar, bass, keyboards, and midi programming. He has worked with artists such as Limp Bizkit, Joan Napolitano, Richard Patrick, Paul D’Amour, Big Dumb Face, Kenna, Rob Van Winkle, Lennon, and Stepa. Scott has worked with producers such as Bob Ezrin, Ross Robinson, Danny Lohner, Terry Date, Micky Petralia, Jay Baumgardner, Steve Thompson, Ulrich Wild, and Chad Hugo.

Kyle Weeks


Kyle started making electronic music at age 15. He attended Full Sail Center for Recording Arts in Orlando, FL, where he recieved an Associate of Science Degree in Audio Engineering. He later accepted a position as Head Engineer of the production
studio at TransContinental Records. There he co-produced and recorded major label artists such as N’Sync, Backstreet Boys, Britny Spears, Jose Feliciano, City High, O’ Town, C-Note, and 95 South. After leaving TransCon, he moved to Los Angeles and
worked freelance as a producer/midi programmer and recording/mixing engineer. There he worked with artists such as Limp Bizkit, Big Dumb Face, and Prime STH.
